Autumn Orpington

Just as the crocus and daphne blossoms announce that there is an end to winter, when the pasture dries to the color of Buff Orpingtons, autumn is approaching. Soon the cooling rains will set in, school books will be opened, and, Lord willing, elk will be in the freezer.
